Founded in 1946, the Hawthorne Caballeros are one of the most decorated groups on the all-age drum and bugle corps scene, with 46 state titles, 16 national titles and 10 world championship titles to their credit. The Caballeros have performed world-wide for the State Department, the President of the United States and the Queen of England, among many other high-profile appearances. Representing the state of New Jersey, the corps was honored to be included in the �Local Legacies� project, a part of the Library of Congress� bicentennial initiatives in 2000.
